Day School is fully accredited by the New York State Department of Education
and staffed by teachers who are NYS certified in Early Childhood Education.
Our Assistant Teachers have had training and experience in early childhood
education or related fields. The owner/directors, Jane and Gene Formica
have a combined total of over 60 years experience in education.
Camp Staff
The health and
safety of every camper is the primary concern of our staff. We search
for the most qualified professional staff, college-age assistants and
local sports and recreation specialists.
Each candidate from group leader to support staff is carefully screened
in an interview by a Carousel director. Once selected, all staff members
undergo an extensive pre-camp orientation program, including a detailed
profile of each camper in their charge.
